OR 99W: Gaarde/McDonald Intersection Improvement Project

Join ODOT and City staff at a construction open house on
Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 5 – 7 p.m. at
Grace Point Community Church Ministry Center, 11075 SW Gaarde Street

The OR 99W: Gaarde/McDonald intersection improvement project is working to improve traffic flow and safety. As part of this $9.4 million project, the Oregon Department of Transportation, City of Tigard and Washington County will increase intersection capacity to reduce the delay currently experienced by drivers. The improvements are expected to increase capacity approximately 30 percent in the afternoon peak hour and roughly 20 percent in the morning peak hour.

To facilitate traffic flow and ease congestion, additional through and turn lanes are included in the project. Construction is set to begin in 2015.
